Cesena Family Imports was created to bring authentic Italian products to the U.S.—the way they're meant to be experienced.With deep roots in Italy, our family has long valued the connection between land, tradition, and quality. We partner directly with small producers who share that philosophy, ensuring every product we offer is genuine and uncompromising.
Our Approach
We begin at the source. We spend time in the groves and estates of the producers we partner with, experiencing firsthand the landscapes, harvest practices, and traditions that shape each oil.
These relationships allow us to curate products with a deeper understanding of both their origin and the families behind them — selecting producers whose work reflects a commitment to quality, authenticity, and regional heritage.
Our Expertise
As Cesena’s Certified Olive Oil Sommelier, co-founder Shannon personally leads the selection of every olive oil we offer. Working closely with producers, she carefully evaluates each oil for its freshness, balance, complexity, and authenticity, ensuring every bottle reflects the character and craftsmanship of its region.
Sourced with Intention
We don't buy from distributors. By working directly with small family producers and managing much of the import and customs process in-house, we maintain greater control over sourcing, quality, and traceability—ensuring each product arrives exactly as its producer intended.
